In 2007, the Berlin architects Johanne and Gernot Nalbach acquired the property. It was extensively restored and carefully extended.
The hotel features twelve individually designed suites and rooms ranging in size from 25 to 100 square meters, accommodating two to six guests; some include sleeping lofts, and seven suites have their own kitchens.
The Kavaliershaus also has its own restaurant, the „Klassenzimmer“.
The extensive park of the Kavaliershaus with centuries-old trees, a bathing area with jetty on Lake Fincken, the sunbathing lawn for sunbathing and playing, the sauna with sauna garden and the wine cellar in the historic vault are available to all guests - as are the table tennis table, sandpit, fire pit, children's playhouse, bicycle room and electric charging station.
