THE CAVALIER'S HOUSE CASTLE BLÜCHER
Your boutique retreat on Lake Fincken
The Kavaliershaus Schloss Blücher - stylishly situated on the shores of Lake Fincken - offers guests a unique combination of historical ambience and modern comfort. In eleven individually designed suites and one room (from 25 to 100 m²), you can expect spacious rooms with high ceilings, plenty of natural light through old classic windows and furnishings that harmoniously combine past and present.
Each suite is characterized by warm natural materials, selected furniture and subtle artistic details - from digital prints by four famous Mecklenburg artists to cleverly integrated wooden cabinets and understated color accents. Two suites have direct sauna access, others have a small kitchen or several sleeping areas - ideal for couples, families or small groups.
The hotel park has its own bathing jetty with beach, sunbathing lawn, children's playhouse, hanging chairs and play facilities - a place where nature, family friendliness and tranquillity merge wonderfully. For body and soul, there is a sauna, relaxation room, yoga facilities and cycling and hiking trails right on the doorstep.
You can indulge in culinary delights in the „Klassenzimmer“: a lovingly furnished restaurant with delicious regional and seasonal dishes, homemade bread, jam and cakes, vegetables partly from our own cultivation as well as fresh fish and game on the seasonal menu.
The result: a place to take a deep breath, enjoy and let yourself go - with charm, history and heart.
A place with history and character
From school to boutique hotel
The Kavaliershaus Schloss Blücher looks back on an eventful past. Originally built in 1748 as a neoclassical manor house for the count's court, the building was later used as a village school for many decades - a legacy that lives on lovingly today in the „Classroom“ restaurant.
In GDR times, the house served as a vacation home, youth club and fire station before finding a new purpose after the turn of the millennium: In 2007, the architect couple Johanne and Gernot Nalbach, together with Lena Nalbach, began the careful restoration.
With great respect for the historic building, old wall colors were uncovered, traces of the past were made visible and architectural details were reinterpreted. Since 2010, the Kavaliershaus has been welcoming guests as a stylish boutique hotel that makes history tangible - without appearing like a museum.
A place where past, present and personal demands on design come together in harmony.
